A building-materials trading company, based in Baghdad
Mudon Al-Ranim Trading is a company specialised in supplying building and construction materials in Iraq. We operate from Baghdad and supply and deliver to every province.
One point should be clear from the outset: we are suppliers, not contractors. We do not carry out construction work and we do not compete with our contractor customers. Our role is to secure the right material, to the right specification, quantity and timing - and that is where all of our attention goes.
The company began as a retail trader and grew both its range and its supply volume until it could cover a project from excavation and foundations to the last finishing touch. Today we deal in sixteen main categories spanning close to a hundred individual lines - building materials, power and hand tools, door hardware and locks, electrical and finishing products.
We provision projects - and sell retail too
We buy from factories, mills and distributors, we hold stock, and we sell - wholesale to contractors and retailers, and retail to the homeowner who needs a single bag of cement. We set no minimum order, because today's small customer may be next year's whole project.
When a bill of quantities reaches us we review it line by line and send an itemised quote setting out price, availability and lead time. If an item is not available locally, we go and source or import it.
Three things we do not compromise on
Specification before price
Cheapest is not always correct. We explain the practical difference between alternatives and leave the decision to you - but we will not sell a material we know is wrong for the use.
A date is a commitment
One late item can stop an entire crew. The date we agree is the date we hold to, and if something threatens it you hear from us before you notice it yourself.
What we agree is what arrives
No quiet substitution of one line for another, and no shortfall in quantity discovered at unloading. And when something does go wrong, we put it right.

We Prepare the Quote
We review quantities and specifications and send an itemised quote covering price, availability and lead time.
We Prepare the Order
Once approved we assemble and check the materials, sourcing anything not held in stock through our supplier network.
We Deliver to Site
We deliver in Baghdad and to the provinces on the agreed schedule, staying in contact through to handover.
